Public parking & friendly staff. Found Wood House Restaurant, set next door to the hotel, ate there a few times. Room was a good value. Moreover, we could park our car nearby.

the breakfast was nice and the location was good. we had an opportunity to explore scottish national gallery as it's set 15 minutes' walk away. you can walk to a tram stop. there was a great dining option, nomad cafe, only 400 metres from the hotel.

The hotel is based within short walking distance to scottish national gallery, popular spot in the city. Merchiston neighbourhood is worth looking into. Room met the criteria: D
